Adventure Friday

I spent the day shopping with with my future mother in law and future sister n law.  I got my wedding shoes!  Soooo Pretty!  So glad they turned out so great!

I got a job, so i had to buy some pants, which is always a projects since I'm short and fat! I found 3 pairs!!

I also found my favorite shampoo at Ulta!  I had no idea there was an Ulta anywhere near here.  I was so excited to see it!!  Redken Hair Cleansing Cream, my absolute favorite shampoo!  LOVE IT!  My hair always feels so clean after i use it!

On top of shopping we had lunch at Ruby Tuesdays.  And ice Cream at Ben and Jerry's.

All in all it was an awesome day!

ENGAGED!!!

Well, it's been a while and there is so much going on.  Me and Mine got engaged!!  Wedding planning is going really well.  Stressful at times but i'm told that's normal.  We are also looking for a new home.  We may have found it yesterday!  Here's hoping!  We've had a few more adventures.. more waterfalls, some hiking, always some shopping.  I found my wedding dress, wedding shoes, wedding purse!!

To add to my list of Firsts, I saw my first CHRISTMAS Parade!  It was so much fun!  It was 60° out but still very much in the holiday Spirit!

So, to start this i should explain, I'm a sorta-vegetarian.  I only eat chicken, turkey and Seafood.  It has to do with helath issues, not a love of amimals so pelase feel free to eat all the burgers and steaks you'd like! :)

Today i had to order breakfast for a work meeting, the girl on the phone asked if we wanted "Country ham" or "Baked ham"?  I responded with "HAM!" LOL  I have no idea what the difference is so, after she stopped laughing, she explained it to me.  SInce, i don't eat it, i still had no idea!  LOL Long story short my boss told me to order the "Country Ham". Please, don't ask why, becuase i have no idea! Still.

I am feeling very lucky to have been able to move to such a wonderful place.  Also, feeling very lucky that God has given me such a wonderful family to share this life with.

So, I decided to start this blog.  If no one reads it but me,  I am OK with that. But if you are reading this.  Hi and Welcome! When I moved to Virginia my boyfriend and I started "Adventure Saturdays."  Since I'm new to the state we started visiting new places.  So far it has been amazing.  I hiked my first mountain.  SAW my first mountain.  Went to the Zoo.  Wine Tastings...many many many wine tastings. Saw my First waterfall. Got a new car.  The list goes on and on.
